Comfort

The most important thing for the client is to feel safe and comfortable. A psychic should not frighten you or make you feel worse about your future. Psychics who make outrageous claims or who consistently forecast doom and gloom should be avoided. Real psychics are there to help you, not scare, intimidate or overwhelm you.

Scammers

Avoid psychics who promise to remove curses (or any unhealthy conditions in your life) in exchange for money. This is a popular scam and is a sure sign that the “psychic” in question is really after your money and not out to help you in any real way. (These types of psychics are typically “storefront psychics”, which is why I advise people to avoid those types of operations.)

Pay-Per-Minute

Avoid the pay-per-minute psychic phone operations. Although there are probably some gifted psychics working for these companies, it’s my feeling that the information given in these scenarios is for trivial/entertainment purposes only and not useful for the client (much less accurate). Although no psychic reading is guaranteed to be correct, your chances are much better if you avoid operations like this.

Honesty / Future Events

A good psychic will give you information pertaining to what is going on in your life, what opportunities and potentialities exist, what should be avoided, what influences are currently around you, etc. Sometimes they also accurately predict future situations and events. However, they will also tell you that only you can determine the outcome of your future. You can take their information and use it, or you can discard it. Any psychic who tells you they know what will happen to you (or what is best for you), irrespective of what you say or do, is not being honest with you. Never replace the psychic’s judgment for your own.

Grandiose Promises of Accuracy / Future Events

Avoid psychics who promise to answer every question accurately, every time. I have never known a psychic who can do this. The fact of the matter is that real psychics get information right a lot of time, and sometimes even most of the time, but rarely all of the time, and that is because psychics are human just like you. As for the future, Spirit reveals things when it feels it ought to; never sooner, never later. Good psychics know this and will tell you this upfront. They will not make up answers to keep you happy; they are only interested in helping you with the truth. And so have reasonable expectations when you consult a psychic.

Dependency

Do not become dependent on a psychic. Any psychic who encourages you to get readings often (every month, every week, sometimes every day!) is more interested in your money than your well-being. Sincere psychics know that people can become unhealthily attached to them and that this attachment does more harm than good. These psychics usually regulate the amount of readings given so that dependence is avoided.
